Privacy policy

This policy explains what My Next Trip collects, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash); the trips, items, notes and documents you add; who you invite; and basic usage counts so we can manage costs. We don't sell your data.

Documents

Uploaded files are stored privately and can only be downloaded by members of the trip, through short-lived links.

Service providers

We use Cloudflare to host the app and store data, Resend to send email, and Google Maps Platform for place search, maps and travel times. Searches you make are sent to Google to return results.

Collaboration

Members of a trip can see your name and what you add to that trip. Viewers see booking references partly hidden.

Your choices

You can update your profile, change email notifications, export everything you've added, and delete your account from the Account page. Deleting your account removes trips you own and your files.

Retention

Deleted items, notes and files can be restored for 30 days, then they're permanently removed.
